Absolutely! Unnessasary accererations should be nice to track as well as excessive speeding.
You probably know the UPS-case where they deliberately encouraged drivers to stop doing left-turns (longer in comparison to right-ones) by optimizing their routes and thereby saved, I think nine-digit numbers.... and the good thing with cost savings is that they go straight down to the bottom line (whereas one dollar in increased sales only affects profits with maybe 30% or whatever the margins are.)
I once worked for a company that logged all driving over 140km/h. :)
